Well Ive gotten the steering column out, brake lines undone, dash and wire harness out, exhaust cut out, rear lights unhooked, misc. undercarraige items disconnected, going to be cutting rusty bolts and pulling roll bar out tomorrow and loosening the body mounts and by Wed. night if I could get a hand removing the body that would be great. Once the body is off I can the get to the drive train swap so much quicker and easier. Im also going to flip the body over and start doing some rust repairs. Yee Haaa!!!

Well finally got the body off and will be starting on the drivetrain swap. I HATE RUST!!!!!!
It really wasn't that bad but in the areas that were.... oh baby. This was an Anc. Jeep and with the salt they use down there as like Wisc. every small screw bolt etc. is rusty! Now I understand why my father absolutely despised the salt trucks in Wisc. The man had impeccable automobiles yet would drive a rusty bone in the winters, now I finally understand why, and I understand why IF he did take a nice one out he'd spend hrs hosing it off when he got home. I mean dad has a 20 yr old tractor that I kid you not shines like it was still sitting on the show room floor, it got polished once a week after he would mow. Anyhow blah blah, I hope to bring in his Yeller CJ5 this weekend and start the drivetrain swap, but I need to build myself shackles first.
