No Sh#t, There i was...Playing hooky from Army safety breifs, when i decided to go play on the back side of post. Started climbing a hill when i heard a snap. Didn't see anything noticable, but now it only moves the front wheels in four wheel drive. When i put it into park, its like its in neutral. When i put it into drive, i can feel a knocking on the left rear tire. Any thoughts? Also, is there a good gear shop in town i can limp the fun runner too? (on a good note: ive got a new kick *** front bumper, the front shocks are in Cali getting rebuilt and they'll be coming back accompanied by a new set of rear race shocks that i purchased 1 hr before i broke it). At least it will be LOOKING bad *** sitting in the driveway!

sounds like a snapped rear axle. oh your going to love those outer rear axle seals ( if you whipe them out )they are tons of fun, just take them to toyota to have them pressed on youngs charged way too much. i have one off of a 99 tacoma? not sure it will help you on a 4runner ,you know what the gears are?

Really! I didn't think anyone would be more expensive than Toyota. Im not sure what the gears are. i'll ask if the 99 will work, if your willing to part with it

Does anyone have the knowledge and time to help with this? I can fix and fly a helicopter, but when it comes to this stuff, i'll probably end up putting the right wheel on the left side! (Thats a joke if you didnt pick up on that....i know the right wheel wont fit on the left side)

Yeah the left doesn't fit the right and with that missing blinker you're already out of blinker fluid.

There is this mechanic out in north pole. Cant remmber the name. He does good work. Merrick might know who it is. If Justin reads this he knows who its is.
