My rig is acting like a baby! When I give it gas, it stays around 1500rpm and it acts like i'm popping the clutch. Its not continuous and i've never had this type of thing happen, so I'm clueless. It has the factory 4.0 I6 5 speed, Any thoughts?:banghead::wtf:

Really though does it feel like it's stumbling and sputtering and lungeing@ 1500 or does it get there quick and stay there?

change the fuel filter. If it has an external one. Some are in the tank only, depending on year.

spray some wd-40 on the accelerater cable :)

throttle position sensor sticking? throwing any codes? B-12 down the intake while running.
