Parade Fund Raiser Car Wash

Ok so we would like to do a car wash next weekend on July 17th. I would like to do two locations if we can. So we will need two pressure washers, hoses, washing materials. I also need volenteers. So if you can help or provide anything for this car wash please post on here. As details become available, places, times etc. I will post them. I will go out on payday and purchase poster board and make several car wash signs. If we need gas for the pressure washers I will also purchase this. Any Ideas that will help with this car was let me know. Any money we don't use for the pardade will go to the lions club account.:smilechicken:

Love your enthusiasm...however, this is why we have a fund raiser commitee!
1. I have to check on our "wash spots" to see if they are avaliable (monday)
2. Matt and I have volunteered our pressure washers to the cause until the club purchases its own.
3. I have the "advertizing material" to include poster, markers, and wood.
4. I also have some mitts, brushes, and chamois.

Items we need:
1. Volunteers who WILL be there.
2. Leaf blowers to dry the vehicles.
3. Billy Wonka's box o' goodies.
4. Refreshments station(insert bake sale here with hot dogs and sodas).

So Lions we are tasked again... though, we will shine out and exceed the standards like we always do as long as we work together!

leaf blower didn't work well at all, at least the one Rich was using....lol
Should be able to make it.......hopefully a nice HOT day.
The towels that the Loompa's had with them worked the best for drying....don't know how much they cost or where they got them but....
AND if anyone has any go-go gadget legs that we can borrow, that would really help out with the big vehicles that will come thru...lol.....GOOD TIMES!!

I will be there with my GO GO GADGET LEGS as well as my little tyke to help get the low sposts. I have some soap we can use cause im not taking it with me. Anything you need from me that I might be able to get let me know. I can help supply stuff for the bake sale just let me know what kinds of stuff we need. I will have lots of ketchup and stuff left in my house that will need to go so I will bring that stuff.

Does anyone have a roll of brown packing or even whiteish paper that we can use for a banner for the car wash?

Might suggest some Tempra paint for the signs too. Nice large letters applied with the sponge brush work fabulous!
Then keep it w/ Fundraising committee so we can have it readily available for the next $$ event.

Sorry guys and gals, Just got home from work. I usually am on top of these things, however work has been a lil' more demanding than normal. Tomorrow for sure I will get to go out and find a spot.
