I need some bump stops on my rear so my springs quit frowning. My thoughts were to have them located on the outside of the frame so they hit on the top of the springs. That means they'll have to be about 6-7 inches below the frame giving me maybe 3 inches up travel max. My down travel would be about 10 inches until shocks are maxed.
So that being said.. I have some 2x2x14ga tube laying around and some little Rancho stops and I was thinking about using it since it's here. And a gusset in the back going to the frame. Does this seem too light for the job? I can always go thicker I was just looking at what I had on hand.
And no I will not be getting high end air stops.
