Meet and Greet 2010

Meet and Greet will be fathersday weekend again this year. I will be going and will be doing a week of wheeling the week before. Is anyone else planning on going?

I am going to try and go, I think the club should make a big effort to go and be a part of this. It will give us a chance to meet with the southern clubs and start to build a relationship. Im sure I will have to work but I will sure try and go. Folks need to start planning now to go and Merick how about you spearheading this and make it happen.

I'm planning on doing the "Week of Wheeling 2010" as well. The wife is actually on board with this and is putting in for vacation time.

I'll probably go. Just have to figure out how Im going to get the bronco down. I have no intentions of driving it that far, I'd go crazy. Its bad enough driving that long in something comfortable. May pick up a truck/trailer from AER or something.

yea i gotta weigh my options here, pull my truck and get a hotel, or pull a camper and follow in the GC....i really dont wanna drive it that far either....

Only upside for me is the bronco'll be a convertible by then, but its too stressful to drive on the highway for that long.

As of right know I plan on coming down for this, however I am running the marathon in anchorage on sat. I should be back to the camp site no later than 3 though.

Don't think there is a hotel near there. I Know at the old site there wasn't. Everyone camps out in tents or campers.

OKAY i need to know if anyone is planning to attend the prerun... we will be leaving the 11th late or early the morning of the 12 and heading to tangle lakes to wheel there till monday and then heading on down to hit other trails on the way
