Well I've got death wobble in my 98 Grand Cherokee and am in the process of replacing bushings in the front control arms. The bottoms are done with some urethanes now but the top are a pain and made out of some thin stamped steel. I borrowed a control arm bushing tool from the store and it really isn't made for this type of extraction. So with some tools put together in a manner which should have worked I ended up just bending the arm instead of the bushing coming out. Does anyone have a good way to take them out? Should I just buy some new ones? Oh and they are the same as on a 97 TJ if that helps.
I'm to the point where I'm thinking of just making my own for the same price as new stock ones.
