There will be a New Years Eve run. It will be Thursday Dec. 31st and will be a night/bonfire/FIREWORKS RUN !!!! This will more than likely be a rather cold night but it WILL NOT be cancelled unless it is -20 or colder. Place is yet to be determined so if you have a place post up your idea. we will pick a spot at the Dec. meeting.

How about we try gilmore trail????

AKBronco

no its still sitting at mareks, moving it is going to be a few stages. First step is getting the truck from mareks driveway to mine but thats only a couple miles of back roads. next is loading the heavy parts that are laying on the ground in my driveway into the bed of that truck. then getting it down to ford so i can drive my bronco down there for its final voyage and strip parts off before i dump it.

then i also need to get my other doner bronco dumped but once i have my own truck i should be able to do it myself.

anyone looking for any ford pieces? little things like glass, interior parts, trim, two hard tops...

My brother-in-law could use a good steering column if you've got one. Preferably with keys. He bought a bronco at an auction and had to break the ignition switch out of it. Or he thought he had to.

Im thinking we meet at the Sourdough Fuel on Farmers Lp. at 7pm and head out at 7:15 or so. Joe will trailboss this. We need pallets so whomever can bring some please do so. Im not sure how long the ride will be but the goal is to be on the trail at midnight. I think Joe is bringing a grill with him also. Bring fireworks and snacks folks, my wife is making some treats to share and Im bringing some bubbly and fireworks also.

RIDE IS ON! I called the weather service and yes they say it will be a bit cold in the valley's but above zero in the hill's and since 90% of our ride and the fire and such will be up high I think we will be fine. However BE PREPARED and bring WARM clothes and food and water. This is sounding like it will be a great time from all the people Ive contacted that will be going. Also we are Lion's and not house cats so we can handle it. It will be a good experience for some to be outdoors in the elements and see how to operate in the cold. We should have plenty of warmth by the fire also. Lookforward to seeing you all there.

I had decided to go, but found out that last night when Ole started the bronco to bring it inside, the rear main finally went out. Pissing oil pretty well from what I was told. Can't seem to get out of work to head out there to work on it either :(
